Military

Michael Yon’s latest dispach.

This was a disurbing read for me.

Then there is this post at American Thinker. A Must read.

We’re closing in on victory in Iraq. (And, if Ray Robison is correct, perhaps at points east as well.) The Jihadis are nearing collapse across the country. With the exception of a few Ba’athist holdouts, the Sunni population is coming over in ever-greater numbers.

We are not getting this from the main stream media.

Marc this is so moving…… I am so disturbed that medical care is falling short here in the USA…. any ideas about how to put pressure to the right people?

    AW,

Our Congress is entirely responsible for this. They claim that they “support the troops”, but have failed miserably in any action to improve care for our wounded. I don’t know what it would take to get them off dead center and paying attention to our wounded heros.

We need a video or a documentary showing the failure. I cannot think of one beurocracy we have here in the USA, that does a good job! Bloated departments full of people who don’t give a damn. I’ll write Cornyn… but it seems ineffectual.

Marc I read this right after it was posted on Yon’s site - the VA downslope of care from CSH & Germany to stateside / follow up is truly abominable.

It’s also quite inspiring to me what I read in that second link from American Thinker - we CAN win …………if we don’t leap head first into the jaws of defeat………..
