Obama is accepting any and all donations, no questions asked!

I have been researching, documenting and studying thousands upon thousands of Obama’s campaign donations for the past month. Egregious abuse was immediately evident and I published the results of my ongoing investigation. Each subsequent post built a more damning case against Obama’s illegal contribution activity.

The media took little notice of what I was substantiating. I went so far as to upload the documents so that anyone could do their own research. I asked readers to download the documents and a number of folks pitched in.

Despite dropping the groundbreaking bombshell story of “Palestinian” brothers from the Rafah refugee camp in Gaza who donated $33,000 to Obama’s campaign, no big media picked up the story. Jihadis donating to Obama from Gaza? Could there be a bigger story? Foreign donations are illegal, but this story was all that and so much more. The “Palestinian” brothers were proud and vocal of their “love” for Obama. Their vocal support on behalf of “Palestinians” spoke volumes to Obama’s campaign.

And yet still no media.

Where is the outrage?????
Where is the FEC????
Where is the McCain attack team????

This is a legitimate accusation against him and his campaign.

They all seem to be well educated and experienced.

Carly Fiorina is one smart and talented woman. She was HP’s CEO for a while. This is a good article about her and John McCain. Evidently, McCain has been listening to a lot of us and has been persuaded to change his mind on several issues. He was on the Rush program earlier, and he has embraced more conservative views. If he sticks to it I will have to vote for him, especially in light of the details coming out of the Clinton-Obama hate fest.

First off, I’m going to give you an important site to contact your representative, as well as find out who it is. This is not to say that you don’t know who your representative is, but in case you need the mailing or email address of your Congress Critter, here’s how to find it.

You’ll need to know your four digit extension on your zip code, but there’s a link there for finding it, if you don’t have any old junk mail laying around that you can use for reference.

As of this writing, the email doesn’t work… Typical government inefficiency at its best. I sent a message to them telling them that it doesn’t work, but I’m sure they don’t really care. Why allow input from your constituents? It might get in the way of doing what you really want.

Anyway, I have uploaded two documents that you can access by right-clicking the following links. They are forms/blanks for sending to your congress critter concerning the Trans-Texas Corridor and Crony Payback project. One form voices your opposition to the Environmental Impact group, which must be sent within the week, due to the closing of public comment on the 19th of April.

The second form, to be sent to your Congress Critter, as well, asks for an investigation of this whole smelly scheme. We all know that the vast majority of Texans don’t want it. The question then becomes, “Why is Governor Goodhair pushing it forward in opposition to the Peoples’ Will?”

The answer, is probably to be found by applying the adage, “Follow the money.” This second form basically asks for the US Congress to look into this questionable deal.

The first document has a section you’ll have to edit and fill out. Now, I think that all of us is smarter than any of us, so I’d like to use the comments for this article to help us come up with reasons to oppose the TTC. I know this is an easy task, but I’d like everyone’s input. Please take a moment to state why we should oppose this fiasco for environmental reasons. Remember, the first document is going to the Environmental Impact group, so we need to address the reasons they are tasked with investigating.

Bonus points if you can use “Global Warming” or “Endangered Species” as part of your logical statement to be included.

Both letters will require some editing to get them to work. If you need your congressman’s email address, it is usually (state abbreviation)(congressional district)@mail.house.gov.

So, for Queen Sheila’s email address, I could send an email to tx18@mail.house.gov and she’d probably get it (and not read it, since I’m white). There is also usually a contact your congress critter on your congressman’s site. The House keeps sites by “lastname”.house.gov. This means that you can find Nick Lampson’s site by going to http://lampson.house.gov.

If the above email doesn’t go through, the alternate email address scheme is rep.lastname@mail.house.gov. So, rep.jackson-lee@mail.house.gov might also work. As a last resort, you can do a search on the congressional site, http://www.house.gov and have a fairly good chance of finding the information you need.

As a resort, AFTER the last resort, you can just ask in the comments, and I’ll find the email address for you.

It’s not hard, but be careful in case your congressman has a common last name. Kevin Brady is NOT at brady.house.gov, for example.

So, let’s get busy, and write up some reasons. I’ll add them to the document, to give us all time to get them out before the deadline.

Every time it is pointed out that George Bush was just stating what all the intelligence agencies around the world were saying, we still got to hear, “There were no weapons of mass destruction! Bush lied! Bush lied! Squawk! Bush lied!”

So now, some female presidential candidate, who shall remained unnamed, has been telling a story about a poor pregnant woman who worked in a pizza parlor, went to a hospital, and because she didn’t have insurance or money to pay the $100 for the service, she died. How tragic! How terrible! We need national health care.

Except, it didn’t happen. Some unnamed sheriff supposedly told she who shall not be named the story, so it became political fare in her speeches, and was repeated ad nauseum. They couldn’t “fully vet” the information, but that didn’t stop them from using it.

So, will we be hearing loud and continual calls of “She lied! She lied! She lied!”

Don’t hold your breath waiting for it to happen. Apparently, it is only bad when a republican believes hundreds of others, who have vetted the information.

This is the real holdup in getting the fences built. The PC mentality in congress.

Residents and property owners along the U.S.-Mexico border have complained about the construction of fencing. In South Texas, where opposition has been widespread, land owners refused to give the government access to property along the fence route.

The government has since sued more than 50 property owners in South Texas to gain access to the land.

Environmentalists have also complained about the fence because they say it puts already endangered species such as two types of wild cats - the ocelot and the jaguarundi - in even more danger of extinction. They say the fence would prevent them from swimming across the Rio Grande to mate.

Chertoff has said the fence is good for the environment because immigrants degrade the land with trash and human waste when they sneak illegally into the country.

Bush has not really had anything to do with the delays as is apparent now.

It appears that Obama’s pastor believes and has preached the following for 20 years.

* “Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.”

* “All white men are responsible for white oppression.”

* “While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism.”

* “Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man “the devil.”"

* “The black theologian must reject any conception of God which stifles black self-determination by picturing God as a God of all peoples.”

* “We have had too much of white love, the love that tells blacks to turn the other cheek and go the second mile. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power, which is the power of blacks to destroy their oppressors, here and now, by any means at their disposal.”

It entirely conceivable that the Obamas have bought into this anti-Christian message. That is not the kind of religious fervor we need in a President. If he is elected, I see bad things happening.

This commentary post is on target.

Senator Obama has no special message for us, he has no new insight that will rid us of our human foibles or uplift our lesser angels. He is an inexperienced leftist Senator who gives good speeches, a mere performer, albeit a talented one. “A More Perfect Union” is nearly plagiarism, a shallow mimic of our Founders’ vision. To sell his candidacy, he must convince us we are in dire need of his leadership. Beyond his rhetorical sleight of hand, there is nothing to indicate he can lead us, no record of achievement, no experience, no special wisdom he can call his own.

He says he seeks to unite us. It is his mantra and his banner. In the tenure of an Obama presidency, will his charity and forgiveness reach out to white intolerance in equal measure to that of Rev. Wright or the New Black Panthers that advertise on his campaign website? Will he remain as unifying and measured as he appears today? Will he control the ideological impulses of the radicals he has embraced and to which he panders even as he tries to appear moderate?

In this very dangerous world with all its challenges dare we find out?

Let us have hope…that this will not be our president.

The attached letter from our State Representative, Lois Kohlkhorst, is mainly on the subject of the TTC.  It states that the comments submitted right now on the TTC website, www.keeptexasmoving.com,  are very important to pass how we feel onto the purse strings for this boondoggle, the feds.  The town hall meetings were “information Only” and now comments submitted on the official website or at one of the official meetings verbally or in writing are official public record.  They will be used to determine the path forward.  We all need to tell them what we believe.

I thought that I was going to go to an information meeting in Bellville and impart the revelation to them that this project only helps Mexico.  I was surprised that they started out their spiel saying just that as the intent of the highway.  If you look on their website they call the I-35 Corridor a “Corridor form Mexico to Oklahoma”, and they call the the I-69 corridor a “Mexico to Northeastern Texas Corridor” (Although it is actually to Southeast Cananda).  Both are designed to bypass Texas and supplant Texas transpotation and shipping interests.  Mexico is improving and building ports which will take business from US ports, Mexican trucking companies will have a huge Boom and all this will be provided by our Governor to them on a silver platter at Great expense to Texans. 

We all have to put comments into the website now if you cannot go to one of these meetings.

TTC Not in Texas’ Interest:  SHAME on Perry and his Whole AdministrationOpinions of: Rick Minter, Sealy, Texas 77474;      Feb 26, 2008 I attended the last TTC information fest to let the Perry Machine know that what they were doing is NOT in Texas’ interest, but instead in the interest of Mexico and foreign parties.  I was unpleasantly surprised to find out; that was the design intent of the project.  The State not only knew this but they meant to design it that way.  SHAME on THEM. Mexico is expanding ports and rail systems to take business away from the US and Texas and Perry is providing the infra-structure to this end at OUR expense.  He must be confused which side of the border he is paid to attend to.  SHAME on HIM.  PERRY and Company are :-         Using Texas money to promote,-         The Taking of Texans’ Land,-         Removing Taxes from local Texas Municipalities-         To build an enterprise that benefits foreign interests.SHAME on THEM We need to expand the Interstate System.  The building of Interstates does not bypass smaller towns, but instead helps them grow.  To aid trucking within Texas we could build bypasses around population centers within the Interstate system so they can avoid some of the traffic associated with these population centers.  To transport freight we need to expand the rail systems, which are MADE to Transport Freight.  They do so much more time, effort and Fuel efficiently.  Why is the Texas Department of Transportation needing us to tell them this????  SHAME on THEM. The TTC tries to bypass the whole State. This Project name needs to be a little bit more descriptive.  We should change it to one of the following:-         The Perry-Clinton NAFTA Highway-         The Texas Bypass-         The Mexican Trucking Companies’ Expressway

“This plan is awful.  It is one thing to confiscate people’s land in the name of the public good; unfortunately this project is not done in the name of public good, but rather in the name of corporate and political greed.  This project is not needed, when the state already has the land and right-of-way dedicated to highway systems that could be expanded and serve the same purpose as the TTC without confiscating and destroying homes and land.  Furthermore, Rail systems are far more efficient and safer for everyone in terms of accidents and in terms of homeland security. 

The people have spoken, and the people are against this enormous abuse of their property rights and the rights of their neighbors.  TXdot and the Texas politicians associated with this porkbarrel should not disregard this righteous anger as something that can be “educated” out of the people.  This kind of abuse caused the Boston Tea Party and TXdot had better start listening before they go the way of the British.

Get everyone to let them know what we think.

Our frequent commenter American Woman invited me to attend the US Border Watch Protest that happens every Saturday morning in front of the Diamond Shamrock on Stuebner Airline near Louetta where day laborers congregate to get day jobs. There was a counter protest in progess when I arrived. The counter protest was a collection of groups, one of which was the Interfaith Coalition and another of which was the Progressive Workers Organizing Committee.

As most of you can imagine, my sympathies lie with the Border Watch people. I am a strong advocate against illegal immigration, and have stated as much here on this blog and in other places on quite a few occasions. So, unlike the mainstream media, I admit my biases, but nevertheless will attempt to provide an accurate account of what transpired in Spring, Texas on this Saturday morning.

I arrived at the designated Border Watch location a little bit late, due to the fact that I had celebrated my birthday the night before, and also wasn’t aware just how far Spring really was from my house. Nevertheless, I arrived before 8:00, and listened to the last part of the Border Watch briefing before being transported to the protest site by “Lobo” of the border watch group. The briefing was very military in its presentation, with warnings and threat assessments, and all of the accoutrements that would normally occur when a platoon is tasked with scouting an enemy position. It was sort of requested that I, like all of the Border Watch members, have a pseudonym, so I naturally took “Wino” as my “call sign.”

Upon my arrival at the actual protest site, a confrontation between the protest groups was already in progress. As I watched some of the Border Watch protesters unload and set up, I got my camera gear ready. I wanted to get some photos for the readers here. An argument, which was loud although mostly unintelligible, had begun between a Border Watch protester and a counterprotester. “Loud and unintelligible” was the tone throughout much of the day.

Shortly after my arrival, I was confronted by a man of hispanic origin. He started by calling me a racist and it went downhill from there. Those of you who have read my writings can probably imagine what came next. Let’s just suffice it to say that I did not strike him physically, but I left no doubt in his mind where my sympathies actually lie. Let’s just leave it at “I argue in person as well as I do on paper, with much the same vocabulary and lack of concern for the other person’s perception of me.”

All in all, I was having a great time, mostly photographing the counter protesters. The initial argument had gotten my blood going, and I was awake and aware, and started documenting the protests with my camera and video camera. One of the counter protesters’ tactics is to take their protest sign and attempt to block the camera shot, which most of them employed on occasion. Twice, they inadvertantly touched my camera with their sign while doing so. Since my camera equipment is somewhat high-end and quite expensive, this did not go down well with me. I resolved to myself that the third time, which never occurred, the protester was going to need a surgeon to remove his sign from a bodily orifice. I am also as ornery in person as I am on the blog.

After the initial confrontation between me and the protester, I pretty much became just a recorder of events. The loud confrontations continued, more or less continuously, for nearly three hours. I checked the time when things finally slowed down, and it was about 10:40.

The Border Watch people mostly left me alone. I was seen as “one of them,” I believe. As I said, my sympathies do lie on “their side” of the protest, but I realized after a fairly short time that I would never become a weekly protester at these gatherings.

The ongoing confrontation, which had more or less continued without abatement since my arrival, was apparently due to the fact that the counter protesters had moved to the area usually occupied by the Border Watch people. The Spring constabulary had demarcated zones for each group, and this was seen as a violation of the agreement imposed by the authorities. As things continued to unfold, I realized both groups of participants were upset and began to act like two prepubescent children in the back seat during a long car trip. I didn’t actually hear the phrase, “Mo-o-o-om! He’s on my side of the line,” but I would not be surprised if it was uttered by one of the protesters.

Castro is out.

HAVANA (AP) - An ailing, 81-year-old Fidel Castro resigned as Cuba’s president Tuesday after nearly a half-century in power, saying he will not accept a new term when parliament meets Sunday.

I have been listening to the various talk radio hosts on my way to and from work, and the refrain seems to be unanimous, if not completely in harmony: Vote for John McCain, since he’s so much better than Hillary or Obama.

They then go on to cite the fact that the next president will get 2 or 3 or 17 Supreme Court Justice appointments. Isn’t that one of the reasons they told us to vote for Dubya? And when we tried to put our justices on the bench, we were blocked by 14 Senators, led by… John McCain. Well, that’s a good reason to vote for him; so he can appoint Justices that he worked to prevent us from appointing last time.

Now, we conservatives want our families, homes, jobs, and businesses protected. They are being threatened by terrorists, declining wages, and increasing prices, in no particular order. One way to attack these problems would be to close the border, which would prevent terrorists from walking across the border, stop wage decreases due to cheap labor, and protect our economy from exported funds.

We might have done this, but then, a Senator came up with a plan to allow folks to stay here and continue in their pursuit of low-paying jobs at the cost of US citizens, but then they’d get a chance to become citizens themselves. Who was behind this amnesty plan? John McCain. Only the absolute OUTRAGE by the VAST majority of US citizens stopped him from implementing his amnesty plan. Yet now he claims he’s heard us… but won’t say he’s not still for amnesty and a “path to citizenship” for the law-breakers in our midst.

Then, we had a problem with Congress working a bit illicitly. Congressmen were taking funds without paying for them in the House Banking Scandal, and others were taking bribes to keep failed businesses open, to lose even more funds that were eventually paid back by US taxpayers. Who was the ONLY republican implicated in these schemes? John McCain.

Yet, now, McCain is our saviour. The one to deliver us from the woes of Hillary and Barack. Am I the only one who realizes that most of the problems we’re having as a nation derive from actions mostly done by the US Senate? Yet, now, we’re all-but assured to have a US Senator as our next president… Barack, Hillary, or Johnnie Boy.

Yet, we’re told to suck it up, and vote yet another non-conservative into office because he’s not as bad as the other guy. I’m beginning to feel a bit used. I’m continually stepped on for the benefit of others, yet when I complain, I’m only told how much worse it could be. I guess a doormat is better than a toilet bowl, but, still, I’d prefer to be in a better position than either of these.

I am probably going to sit out the next election. I won’t vote for Clinton or Obama, but I don’t see where McCain, the cause of most of the ills he’s supposed to address, is much better.

I’d rather keep my PERSONAL dignity and let the country go where it may.

I’m tired of being taken for granted, and I won’t be supporting any of these pandering fools.
