Hi everybody! No siren today…….. I must be loosing my virus appeal. How are all of you? I guess married life is working well for the Wino clan. We had a lovely shower this afternoon, with a little thunder. I didn’t have to water the grass again tonight. I am grateful. Kiddo graduates college in a month! PINCH ME……. I think it’s true!!! wheee. It’s been a long tough, road and she is more than ready. She is coming home this weekend. I haven’t seen her in since around mother’s day,

Marc how are you and yours?

Kiddo is home this weekend, so it’s hectic but great! Is it hot or what! I hear Vince Vance and the Valiants are playing tonight in Hempstead or Bellville. A free concert on the square…. I’m tempted but kiddo isn’t thrilled with the idea.

I see that Katfish is back authoring again…Good!

AW, We are trying to stay cool. We really have done nothing notable travel wise. The birds are hot too.

After almost 10 years I finally broke down and had our local electrical guys put in a 100 Amp service to our “Cabin”. We have been running off of the 30 Amp temp(!!!) service I installed to get us moved in out here in 1998/9. We bought a new washer and dryer a while back (You probably remember) and the Temp was overloaded by that. We have plenty of power now and since all of our big energy requirements are met with Propane, no more tripped breakers. Yay!

I had wanted to do it myself, but Hell I am 64 and would have had problems digging 200′ of trench to put the wire in, much less manhandling that much wire. As it turned out, it took them 2 days with several guys to get in the ground, covered up, and connected.

Stormy is still job searching. The Texas Workforce Commission (Unemployment Office) is really weird these days. Instead of a check in the mail, they issue a debit card and transfer money once a week if you follow their rules to the letter. If not you start over and wait a week to be reinstated.

Of course if you go to an ATM and withdraw funds, the ATM owner deducts $3 or so per transaction. They also do not tell you if they have approved funds for that account. A really P.. poor system.

Glad the site is back up…Thanks Wino.

Wow, this is great, no more Trojan’s. We had contemplated getting rid of FauxNews, because of the virus. Looks like we will all be one happy family again, thanks to Wino…
Marc, glad you have more juice running now for all your household necessities.
AW, you need to get the Kiddo to spread her wings and get interested in new ideas. The concert thingy sounds like fun.
Wino and I are going to Baker’s St. Pub on W. Gray tonight to see a band called Rat Ranch. I’ve seen them before, there awesome.
Wino and I are renovating a bathroom, so I stayed inside where it was cool today and worked on painting the bathroom. He unfortunately had to go mow the yard, looks great. Ya all have a cool weekend.
Katfish, good to see you posting again.
