Spc Orlando A Perez will be coming home via Hobby Airport on Sunday March 2nd.
The family has graciously invited us to attend Orlando’s service.
There will be a flag line at the airport followed by an escort to the funeral home Sunday morning March 2.
Spc Perex is a graduate of Bellaire High School. He then joined the 2nd Squadron,
2nd Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany with assignment to Baghdad, Iraq.
We will also be attending the funeral service and the internment at Houston National Cemetery.

about 10 miles north on Broadway.

SPC Orlando A Perez came home to a large and respectfull sea of USA flags. There was enough PGR to completely encompass all four sides of the plane and waiting family. The high winds keep all flags flying as well as the spray from the Airport Fire department water cannons from reaching anyone in waiting. Many of the family members pass on their thanks to everyone that attended.
The funeral service is scheduled on Tuesday at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Chruch @ 1000hrs. Following the Mass, a grave side service will be held at Houston National Cemetery. The PGR will be in attendence at both.
Due to the lack of an addequate staging site, we will stage at the church. This church also hosts a elementry school, so please try to arrive no earlier than the start of posted staging time to allow the school kids to be dropped off and in class. Please be on the lookout for kids that may still be on foot.
SPC Perez was a altar boy at this church and a graduate of Bellaire High School. He then joined the Army 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany with assignment to Baghdad, Iraq.

Honors Flags Set Up: 845 Hrs
Family Arrival: 0900 Hrs
FAST will depart for Houston National Cemetery at 1015 hrs to setup the Flag Line reception
There will be LEO escort (PGR road guards should not be needed) to the Cemetery for both FAST and procession.
