Big Brother taking the next step
Now we have the next step in total socialization of our lives. If this goes through then it is even more proof that the liberal/socialist agenda is not going away.
California energy regulators are considering taking control of residents’ thermostats, giving them the ability to control the temperatures of homes during energy crises, the New York Times reports.
The California Energy Commission is expected to vote on the rules next month, which would give utilities the power to control home thermostats via radio control to manage electricity shortages, the paper reports.

Customers would be able to override utilities’ suggested temperatures, but not during energy emergencies, the New York Times reports. The move, officials say, would help them avoid rotating outages statewide.
“You realize there are times — very rarely, once every few years — when you would be subject to a rotating outage and everything would crash including your computer and traffic lights, and you don’t want to do that,” Arthur H. Rosenfeld, a member of the energy commission, told the Times
Now don’t get me wrong I believe that saving energy is something that everyone should look to do. But the thing that I find highly ironic is that here the energy regulators seem to be willing to allow the power companies to control individual citizens lives and their thermostats during power emergencies but they are adamant about not allowing these same companies to build the infrastructure that is needed to have an energy grid that has the ability to handle 99.99% of the power needs 99.99% of the time.
Now go and tell me where the common sense is in this line of logic.

This may be the step that ends California’s lunicy. I don’t know what the population stats are on women who are of the age to experience hormonal change and hot flashes. But, It might be a wise and lucrative idea to investigate what it takes to open an gun and amo shop in California. There’s gonna be a lot of hot and unhappy women!
